Tonight! Nov.10th: Another Great Wildlife Program

Join us this evening for another in our ongoing series about wildlife in Connecticut.  On Tonight, Friday Nov. 10, 7:00 pm at East Haddam Grange Hall, EHLS will present Wildlife in a Changing Environment, with Master Wildlife Conservationist, Al Petell, who will discuss the impacts of habitat loss and climate change as well as some much needed good news.

This program will add yet another to the 200 that Al has presented on behalf of wildlife conservation over the years, including one about animal tracking at East Haddam Free Public Library several years ago.

Al graduated from the Master Wildlife Certification Program in 2008 and has been working tirelessly for the DEEP Wildlife Division ever since, helping to provide wildlife outreach for audiences including Scouts, school children, campers, and libraries. Recently he staffed wildlife displays at Hebron Day and for the Haddam Neck Fair and assisted school groups visiting Belding Wildlife Management Area.

The program, Wildlife in a Changing Environment, will discuss how animals are coping with the challenges that face them, including changes in climate and habitat. There will be a lively discussion in which Al will answer your questions. He will also have a large array of pelts for you to see and touch.

Please join us for this latest in our series of wildlife programs. Thanks.
