Adventurers wanted!

If you like roleplaying, acting, fantasy, gaming, or geeky stuff – D&D club is for you! The World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game gives you the chance to take part in epic tales of adventure and fantasy. Tweens, Teens, and Adults are invited to join in on the fun. Newbies are encouraged, veteran players are welcome. 

Stop by the East Haddam Free Public Library from 5:00*-8:00pm on any of our game dates and see what D&D is all about.

More August Programs

Wed. August 15th is the Teen Manga Club at EHFPL from 6-8 pm. On the same day for younger patrons, at RFML, Let’s Make a Rainmaker from 11:00 am to 12 noon. Then, on Thursday August 16th at EHFPL, Read with Second Grade Teachers Mrs. Nelan and Ms. Palmer. On Wednesday August 22nd, at RFML, Read with First Grade Teachers – four in all!

Due to the rainy, muggy, Dog Day weather, the Dog Day program at Town Beach has been cancelled.


This Coming Friday: Coyotes in Connecticut

On Friday August 3rd, learn about these fascinating, mysterious, often feared predators from Master Wildlife Consevationist, Paul Colburn. Presented by DEEP Wildlife Division and the East Haddam Library System. Starting at 7:00 pm at the East Haddam Grange Hall,488 Town Street. Suggested age 12 and up.

Paul Colburn is a 2015 graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program and a certified Master Wildlife Conservationist. Mr. Colburn has provided over 150 wildlife presentations across the state and participated in several wildlife research projects. He offers presentations on black bears, bobcats, eastern coyote, fisher, white-tailed deer and a natural history of Connecticut dating back to 1650.  Mr. Colburn is an avid outdoorsman, a graduate of Wesleyan University and served honorably in the United States Army.
