There are lots of great programs this month at your libraries, including Harp Music with Kasha, Black Panther Movie Night, both at EHFPL, and PJ Movie Night at RFML.
Kash Breau is an artist who performs Celtic songs and dances. On Tues. July 10th at 1:00, Kasha will play the Kantele, a Finnish instrument, sing in Finnish and tell a story from the Kalevala. Kasha is one of the few performers of this lovely instrument. Join us at EHFPL for this unique performance.
On Saturday July 14th at 6:30, come in to the EHFPL library for a fun Black Panther event, featuring the recently released blockbuster movie.
For the little ones, PJ Movie Night will be at Rathbun July 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Me Posters. Saturday June 16th from 10:30 to 1:00 pm at EHFPL. Bring your child to the library to make a life-size poster of him/herself.
Birds on the Run!
Presenter: Anthony Dibella
Join us at the East Haddam Free Public Library on June 28th at 11:00 AM as Anthony DiBella, Veterinary Technician from Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital, shares his experience regarding animal behavior and care of both wild and companion animals. Tony works with CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and KBAH to treat, stabilize and place wildlife with licensed wildlife rehabilitators. In addition to his work at KBAH, Tony presents educational programs for a non-profit animal sanctuary. Meet some of the exotic birds, such as parrots, that Anthony has cared for when he presents Birds on the Run.
