Dr. Alice Hamilton, Still Saving Lives

Have you ever wondered how our ancestors survived the harsh working conditions of the Industrial Revolution? Or who were the pioneers who discovered lead toxicity? Come to this presentation for the answers! The presentation will highlight a past local resident, Dr. Alice Hamilton. This presentation is the work of Janet Lemond, C.I.H., who spent most of her life in the safety and health profession including OSHA and the EPA. She has compiled her findings in a book, Doctor Alice Hamilton, M.D., Neighbor of William Gillette. Prepare to be amazed!
