Baby Sign Language Program Video

Good news! Our recent Baby Sign Language program is now available via the Library’s YouTube channel.  Jade Matviyenka recently did a three-part Baby Sign Language workshop for the Library, and this information is now available in video format for families to watch and refer to whenever they wish.  It’s an excellent resource to unlock the power of early communication with your little ones.

Babies are naturally curious and eager to connect, and teaching them simple hand gestures can open the door to a whole new way of understanding. This video is designed for parents and little ones up to age three.  Companion materials are available from the library on request. Check out the video here: Baby Sign Language Basics.

Jade Matviyenka is a seasoned educator with a background in deaf studies and will be guiding parents on techniques that will make communicating with little ones rewarding.

This project was generously sponsored by the Friends of the Rathbun Library.
