Homeschool Book Clubs
Introducing EHFPL’s new Homeschool Book Clubs! Stop by our first meetings on November 15 (2:30-3:30pm for Chapter Chat & 3:30-4:30pm for Novel Ideas) for a get-to-know-you session and to pick up our first book. Chapter Chat readers (aimed at ages 7-9) will try a new first chapter book series every month, while Novel Ideas (aimed at ages 10-12) will read middle grade books. At each meeting, we’ll talk about the book and do a fun activity to go with it. Books will be available at the children’s desk or at the previous month’s meeting. There’s no registration required, we hope to see you there!
Teen Manga Club
Do you love manga or have you always wanted to try it out? Want other teens to discuss books with? Now is your chance! All the books will be either Volume 1 in a series or a single book. This month we are reading Komi Can’t Communicate by Tomohito Oda. Recommended for ages 13+. We hope to see you there on Fri., Nov. 8 at 6pm at EHFPL!
