All donations promote the library system’s mission and cannot be used for any other purpose. Direct contributions, memorial contributions, bequests, grants, and corporate contributions all benefit this fund, which will be used for programs and services not budgeted by the Town. For example, a memorial garden was recently established using funds donated in a deceased Friend’s name.

We will use donations to:

• Kick start innovative programs
• Provide seed money for fundraising projects
• Meet critical needs of the library system for which Town funds are not available

To make your tax-deductible contribution to the Libraries’ Special Revenue fund, please make your check payable to “East Haddam Library System” and drop it off (or mail it in) to the Library Director at either branch.  No gift is too small (or too large!).
