Level Up at Your Library

Summer is almost here and there’s a lot of fun things to look forward to happening at your local libraries!

Summer Reading

Kids and teens can track the books they read this summer on the Summer Reading Tracker, made by the East Haddam Libraries and Schools. Then stop into either library throughout the summer to get a stamp for each book read and earn prizes at certain milestones.

  • 1 Book = Sticker
  • 9 Books = 5 Raffle Tickets
  • 17 Books = Small Prize
  • 25 Books = Free Book
  • 26+ Books = 1 Extra Raffle Ticket Per Book Read

Readers will have from June 21 to August 23 to get their tracker stamped and get their raffle tickets and small prizes. Tickets for the raffle will be drawn, and the winners will be called, on August 26.

Kick Off

We will celebrate the start of Summer Reading with our kick off on June 21 from 9:30-12:30pm.* Play fun outdoor games, make your own bubble wand, eat ice cream & popsicles, and, the most fun of all, get your summer reading tracker!

*If it rains, the program will be rescheduled for Saturday, June 28 from 9:30-12:30pm
